Upcoming Events![]() August 18th, 2007- the 38th anniversary of the Camille flood: Focusing on the heroic recovery operations occurring during that period, this event will include oral histories of those who were there. Details of the event including exact time and location wil be posted on this site in the near future . If your club or group would like to arrange a tour of Oakland, we recommend the candlelight tour. Your hostesses will be dressed in period costume and take you back in time with a history of the house beginning with its use as a tavern. Refreshments are served, and we'll tell you all about our plans for restoration and use of the house. Donations of $10 per person are requested.
